My wife and I went to see this film back in 2002. If I'm not mistaken, the movie ended with Cruise in the future world. I bought the DVD on the cheap and watched the movie again just 2 days ago. It ended with the line: Open your eyes. Am I mistaken, or did the ending of the movie change, from it's original theatrical release?

Bullshit. Vanilla Sky has been around for about a hundred years already. If you haven't seen it yet, do you best to stay out of a thread devoted to it. Especially a thread with the subheading "Did the ending change for the dvd?"

The only thing spoiling about what I said was, Future World. But really, that line would make no sense, unless you saw the film.

Tom cruise got fucked up in that movie. His face looked like a fucking omelette. I mean, he looked like the guy in Robocop who got all the toxic waste spilled on him and got waffled by the 6000SUX. remember that? That was awesome. That was a great movie.
