There are a lot more, but these are just the ones that I have.

I just watched Halloween 3: Season of the Witch last night. It gets a really bad rap but it's mostly from people who are pissed that Michael Myers isn't in it (well, he is...sorta). Once you get past that (and for me it wasn't hard at all), you'll find a really, really creepy and fucked up movie. Seriously, check it out.

Chopping mall

The cover of this movie threw me off completely.



It just doesn't look like crappy 80's looking robot security would be responsible for the chopping. I thought it was some slasher film. Sucks in a good way though. It's no Troll 2.

I think the guy that was behind all the masks was also the cult leader who "created" Michael the way he is now. I'll have to look at part 6 again sometime.

Are you guys kidding me? Halloween 3 is a joke. The only good Halloween is the first one.

Although, I will admit that I liked the ending of Halloween 3 What with all the children dying.

I used to think as you did but I caught it again recently on DVD and the movie is fucking awesome. If you haven't seen it in a while you really should check it out again.

Yeah, but not really, for a number of reasons:

1. John Carpenter wrote it, but he didn't direct it.

2. Carpenter admits on the Halloween 1 DVD commentary track that he did all he could do with the story (such as it was) in the first movie, and he only wrote and produced the sequel because he didn't make any real money on the original due to his deal with the studio. He sounded ashamed to admit it, but part 2 was a total cash-run.

3. Another interesting fact- Michael Myers was supposed to STAY dead at the end of part 2. The Halloween series was originally envisioned as an annual series of creepy movies coming out every year for Halloween, and part 3 was supposed to be the starting point for that. Myers wasn't even supposed to be in part 2, but Carpenter wanted to make some money with the popular character, then kill him off for good and go in a different direction with the series. Of course, people got pissed that Myers wasn't in 3, it bombed, and the studio did their Hollywood thing and brought him back. Over and over.
