Could someone help me out with my Action Replay MAX?

1) With the system off, press eject, put in the disc & dongle (slot 2).
2) It usually will boot.
3) If it doesn't (and it's happened to me before), press reset. Do not eject the disc or remove the dongle.
4) It should boot now.
5) If it doesn't, call up Datel's support line on a weekday 9-5. You'll get a live person who'll help you out. Their forums have been closed for almost a year.

I recently bought an Action Replay MAX. It was a worthy purchase.

Now, I can download new rosters for Fire Pro Returns. Chris Masters can beat the shit out of Jun Akiyama now. The world is right.

I noticed the Action Replay MAX is on a CD (eww WTF) so that could be an issue as well(PS2s crap out on CD reading quite quickly).

A great purchase, especially for checking out all of the harder to unlock extras in games.

I've had the same problem with my AR Max, I have an older PS2 and I'm constantly getting the "disk read error" message. But my gf has the new slim PS2 and the AR Max works just fine with no problem at all, and it even runs faster. I love using the AR Max to store my saves and put it on my computer, and now that I cant get it to run a lot of my saves are stuck on my PC. I'm going to sell my PS2 and get the newer one. (problem fixed)
