thanks. i want to see it as well but there's a lack of pre-screening reviews so far.
The much anticipated (well, at least by me) sequel to one of the most twisted movies ever made is coming out this week, Saw II. The first one reeked of awesomeness. My friend has tickets to the midnight showing, so I'll post my impressions tomorrow night or something.
thanks. i want to see it as well but there's a lack of pre-screening reviews so far.
Hopefully they fix these three things:
Plot
Acting
Plausibility
Those fixes + more cool deathtraps == enjoyable movie-going experience.
who the hell watches movies.....or more importantly "scary" movies for plausibility?
I thought the original was kind of tame. I expected worse. In terms of gore.
Edited for truth. Saw was a terrible movie. A couple of interesting scenes, a ton of wasted potential, and an even larger amount of bad acting. It's too bad, because they cut an amazing trailer and I was really, really excited for it. I wanted to love it, and I guess that's why I come down so hard on it. It really should have been better.Originally Posted by The Chronicle
I don't have high hopes for the sequel. We already found out who the villain was in the most absurdly stupid plot twist I had seen in a long time, so what's he going to do now? Prey on more people who aren't living their lives to his standards with CREEPY and EDGY deathtraps? Yeah.
Don't get me wrong. I'll probably end up seeing it because that's how dull my life is. I'm also still going to see Doom at some point. But I'm not expecting much. I really didn't see a need for this movie when it was announced so soon after the first, and I still see no need for it. I just feel like those two fingers on the poster are reaching for my wallet.
Wasn't the first one bad enough?
I really liked the first one, and I'm seeing a midnight showing as well, so I'll post impressions when I get back from work on friday.
"All creatures will DIE, and all things will be BROKEN: That is the law of the SAMURAI."
They made the first one out to be disturbing as hell from the trailers, I saw it and it was pretty tame and the ending was stupid. I am also a jaded horror movie fan, so don't mind me. That being said, I am going to see Saw 2 this Friday. Maybe it won't suck.
Plausibility makes things significantly scarier.Originally Posted by Dragonmaster Dyne
