PSP is a portable system, not a portable system for trips only! i love having to play my PSP anywhere at home, i'm not forced to sit infront of my TV at all times to play a certain game on my PS2/XB/DC/GC/SNES. with handhels i get the privillage to play anywhere i want.

If you only want something for trips, GBA and games for it are dirt cheap about now, and can be at least a good distraction.

my local Virgin Megastore store has the white import PSP, ii have the black PSP, yet i'm dying to get this white one......well atleast the white one won't show finger prints like the black one.
