For such a big wrestling fan, I'd expect the "dropkick" to be a lot more authentic. It's more like a...lunging forward kick.
I don't really care.

He's right, you know.
Rather than redraw it or anything like that, I think you should change the text to "LUNGING FORWARD KICK!"
Just admit you accidentally saved it with a crap palette and it fucked up your gradients pls.Originally Posted by Andrew

You do know it's "Old Wives' Tale", not "Old Wise Tale"... right?
You do know that we just made it up and weren't referencing anything? Right?
Of course you didn't because you were trying to hard to find something clever to say.
Robobo doesn't know the difference. He's not quite the aficionado of flying kicks that I am.Originally Posted by rezo
And old wives' tales are usually about pregnancy, puberty or health (like eating and shit like that). Perhaps I will do a comic about Robobo having pregnancy explained to him by a medieval style midwife, but maybe not either.

No, because regardless of your intention, it comes across as someone incorrectly saying old wives' tale.Originally Posted by jonas

see how I did that?
One is a commonly used phrase, the other is a title that doesn't make any sense, given your story of a robot, because the story isn't old, and is about a robot who seems to be pretty stupid, not wise. And if you're trying to be clever, by using all of these contradictory words, it's not coming across.

It comes across incorrectly to you because you are reaching for straws to bug us. There are many many people out there who get what 'old wise tales' is suggesting. There are many people out there who understand that 'wise tales' do exist and putting OLDE in front of it merely would suggest that they are OLD tales of something silly.
I think you should stop wasting your time trying to do whatever the hell it is you trying to do with your constant trash mouth comments about our web comic.
I've said it before and I'll rephrase it perfectly for your obviously very complex mind.
I don't want you as a fan. You have no intentions of being one and you are only here to constantly bicker over something that is YOUR OPINION.
Stop wasting my god damn time and go make your own damn comic if you are so talented. (which i doubt you are)
There are a growing number of people who enjoy our comic. Does that bug you? I hope so because otherwise you are acting quite pathetic trying to dampen our spirits.
I lol you because you waste so much time trying to 'prove our comic wrong'. What's next? The colour blue in the background is the devil's colour!?
OH WOW, stop everyone here comes FirstBlood saviour of the Internet!
I suggest you stop being a douche and just lock this thread.
"Chuy, you're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."
