No it isn't, not when American Idol can be the most popular TV show in the country.
Time for a change
I think it's pretty close between PVP and CAD, but I know CAD gets around 33 million while PVP is usually 30 million. Penny Arcade gets close to 50, but that's all speculation.
PVP updates every day while CAD only update 3 days a week, so CAD probably has the larger fan base.
Also noted should be that Scott Kurtz most likely makes way more off of his site than Tim Buckley does CAD. Scott is a smart business man, and even has some of his comics syndicated in newspapers.

That's not entirely accurate. I believe that is only views through that specific list.
Penny Arcade get like 40 million+ hits a month... it's insane.
Over 5000 webcomics in that list alone. Geez.
2613. The Olde Wise Tales of Robobo
Not bad for only a couple months under the buckle.

An upstart designer clothing company just contacted me and asked me to develop a comic strip for their company website (I think they specialize in band-specific clothing because they're networking through myspace right now), so I'm going to actually be making some money off of being a cartoonist.
I'll probably do it, and they told me they chose me because of my work on Robobo no less. They also said they're going to cross-promote with Robobo and will design us t-shirts for free once we have enough demand.
http://www.myspace.com/blindfiveinc is their current website (blindfiveinc.com probably once they finalize their distribution deal). This is fucking awesome.
