Damn, jump on that shit. I've been playing it here and there and it's awesome.
For those in the Great White North, today's Toys R Us flyer says this game is $10 off.

Finally beat the new style Yellow Devil. That thing is flat out vicious, took awhile to get his patterns down. Also, one time after taking a break and going back to the lab, Roll said "Are you hurt? Are you OK? Things out there got tough, hey?" Remembering that the Ocean VA group who do the voices are Canadian.

I have no idea how I beat this shit when I was a kid, I almost tossed my psp after playing Gutsman stage.
it's kinda funny haveing to adjust my mind to the game being in 3D. like....i'm scared to see how close i can get to the edge of a platform before i fall off. i remember you could have like....just 2 pixels of megamans foot on a ledge and he'd not fall off....but here i can't tell and i'm scared to find out!
i love how once you get the bosses and use them they all have different dialogue when talking to eachother. iceman and elecman are my favorites to use. bombman's pretty slick, too. i love how his mohawk gets messed up when he takes damage. this game is great.
oh, is there away to do the bosses special "low energy" attacks? it'd be cool to do elecman's lightning bolt thing.

I tell ya, if Gutsman stage was that bad for you, I fear for your system's welfare when you fight the shadow devil.Originally Posted by Chux

Shadow devil protip (new style): Hit his eye with Fireman's beam, packs waaaaay more damage than both the mega buster and elec beam.
First time I beat MM 1 I think I was 14. But just last fall I cleared it again on the MM Anniversary disc, so I was kinda prepared.
I actually haven't had much trouble timing my jumps. Not even on the annoying green platform 'bots which sway back and forth.Originally Posted by rama
Ditto on Bombman's mohawk parting, that was great.
Those shooty platforms with the eyes are the worst. In Powered Up, they don't shoot at you (at least not on normal, only diff setting i have tried)Originally Posted by EvilMog

Its too damn high and the damn green platforms wont go anywhere near another floor opening next to it for me to go that way.
I'm starting to remember why so many NES and SNES pads where shattered now.

Ah, u are in old style. Gotcha. Yes, much shattering of pads no doubt back in the day.
