This movie would have been better off if they hired a good Japanese speaking no-name actor as the lead(s) and spent the rest of the money on a good script, a good score and special effects

This movie could turn out so good with tekken's storyline being as deep as it is but Hollywood is so predictable.

I'm still gonna watch it of course.

I love how the only mention of him was that he was beaten by Law in 23 seconds in the previous tournament.

I liked it. I think it's the 2nd best fighting game movie behind MK1

I'll happily take DOA over this. At least that was dumb fun, with a good T&A flavor, and didn't take itself as serious as this did.

I got the impression that Paul was the bartender, just without the crazy hair...but maybe I'm imagining things.

I'd say I liked Tekken better than DOA if only for the better casting and fight scenes, but I don't think I could watch either again to make sure.

I'm not sure how they could have cast DOA any better on the shit budget it was made on. Kevin Nash as Bass FTW.

I liked DOA, but I can't fucking stand Jaime Pressly, and Eric Roberts was a pretty shit end boss. (even though I love Eric Roberts) Tekken had some shit that was STRAIGHT OUT of the game, and I marked out for it. I mean, take a look at the Eddy Gordo fight scene, he even did one of Eddys throws for chrissakes.

I'm sure they're saving Paul for his own movie. It's clear that it would be impossible for him to lose, and since this was Jins movie, they had to save him for next time.
