It's not that it was complex, it's that the reward for figuring everything out wasn't worth the effort. I've played much more complex games, but they also do something worthwhile with their complexity. US wasn't a one-of-a-kind game that justified its myriad of systems, it was just a totally generic RPG with a bunch of obscure and counter-intuitive systems.Originally Posted by Finch
Still willing to give Magna Carta a chance because I like this kind of RPG, and the mixed things I've read remind me of the mixed reactions to Star Ocean 3, which I enjoyed a lot.


All i want is people to give MC a few hours' chance. Playing it for 20 minutes and calling it crap is failing. I'd like to see a rythm rpg with a similar battle system.
