Sci Fi Recommendations

Looking for a box set to buy. I've recently watched Farscape Seasons 1-4 + The Peacekeeper Wars (excellent), Firefly (excellent), and BattleStar Galactica (Mini Series + Season One) (good). Any recommendations for a season or more of Sci Fi worth watching?

Stargate SG-1

Outside of Firefly & Farscape there isn't a sci-fi series that comes close to it.

You might want to hold on a bit though. I think they're planning a mondo boxset with all the seasons.

I've watched that a few times and wasn't impressed. Then again, Farscape took a while to get into and it was much better the 2nd time around. Is SG-1 consistent throughout, or is there a season where it gets worse?

Yeah, this was good through season 6, I guess I could watch that again too or buy an HK version.

It starts off great and just keeps getting a little better every year.

SAAB is really good. It's a shame it only got one season though. Pick that up if you want a quick series to watch. Hit up SG-1 if you want something that's going to take the better part of 6 months to watch. 9 seasons of SG-1, 2 of Atlantis and counting.
