Wilmer Valderamma to play Ponch in CHiPs movie..

Yep..another classic tv show is heading to the big screen and its CHiPs! Wilmer Valderamma (from "That 70's Show) will play Francis "Ponch" Poncherello. No word on who will play Jon. Now Wilmer actually seems like a good fit for the role and I think he did a skit playing Ponch on the show (or was it MadTV/SNL??).

This should be a disaster but I did like Starsky and Hutch so maybe this will be ok...maybe not.

I imagine this being more along the lines of Dukes of Hazzard quality as opposed to Starsky & Hutch.

Starsky & Hutch at least had Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson & Vince Vaughn to keep it above water.
