Thread: Konami releasing a GBA 'Vania double pack in '06.

  1. Game Boy Advance Konami releasing a GBA 'Vania double pack in '06.

Great news, except that it excludes the first game, which is the hardest to find. Maybe they'll re-release it at around this time to maximize sales. If I can't find the games by the time this comes out, I'll snag this, since I've regretted not getting these when they first came out.

  2. Who honestly cares if Harmony of Dissonance is rereleased?

It's the worst of the Metroidvanias.

  3. I hope this double pack will still let you unlock that item in Dawn of Sorrow, it's also listed at $30 on EB and GS's sites, with a 1/10 release. Here's the cover art for the UK version, which will probably stick for the U.S. release.

  4. "Circle of the Moon" is absolutely the best 'vania after "Symphone of the Night". the other two were crap in my opinion, they were also too easy. I hope 'vania DS(which i have, only played for 20 mis) doesn't suffer the same.

  5. If the next games would have SotN's gameplay with CotM's difficulty I would be set for a lifetime.
    All is well.

    LAWWWWWWWL

CotM is 100x easier to find than either of these.

  8. I'd like a re-release of CotM for a different reason: It's one of those few early games that uses a battery for the save instead of EEPROM and my battery went dead long ago.

Also, CotM was still pretty easy (probably on par with Dawn of Sorrow), and kinda broken. I managed to play through it severely out of order my first try. It's good, better than Harmony of course, but no where near as good as Aria in my personal opinion.

  9. The two things that really pissed me off about Harmony were the music and the complete lack of secret roomsexcept for that stupid save room thing, something that I really loved in Circle. Outside of that, I thought it was a good game. However, my Harmony battery is dead.
