Why are Sirius units so frigging awful? Can somebody explain that to me?
I can explain that (they outsoucre their R&D instead of developing tech in-house like XM), but what I can't explain is why they're so expensive. Their shit radios cost more than twice as much XM shit that's better. I can get a MyFi for the cost of one of their stand plug-and-plays or whatever. And I can get XM plug and plays for free with a 3 month sub. It's just ridiculous.

Stern and crew did a pratice show this morning so they could work out the bugs with the sound and mics and such in preparation for Monday's show. It was weird yet very cool hearing them curse and not have to stumble over themselves to be careful when talking about sex.

Are you sure you weren't hearing a replay of a runthrough? I know they did two already (one on Tuesday @ 4:00 PM, another on Thursday @ 11:00 AM), and I wasn't aware that they'd have another on Friday.
Nonetheless, I agree with you about the rehearsal. It really was cool to hear the behind-the-scenes aspects of the show. Definitely will be waking up early to hear the whole show on Monday.
