  2. #2
    Awesome.

For week #1 I suggest the Bruce Willis Christmas classic....Die Hard.
"Chuy, you're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."

  3. This is a pretty good idea, but I'll probobly have trouble getting the movies that we come up with. Or maybe I'm just lazy.

Since it's holiday time, how about The Apartment?

Or This is Spinal Tap, I can always go for that movie.
I knew he was a commie, cause he didn't drink [duff] beer.

  4. #4
    I second that suggestion.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1
    My Backloggery

  5. sounds like a good idea. Suggestion? Since Rumpy started the thread, he should pick the first movie, then he will choose someone else to pick it next time, so on and so on.

  6. I'd suggest we make a list, but TNL is bad about that sort of thing.
    Time for a change

  7. That's going to be the hardest part, picking a movie.

How about we make lists for a bunch of genres (Horror, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Drama, Action...) and then we can select a movie, and then rotate the genre for the next movie.

Since we all lead different schedules, does 2 weeks to see the movie sound alright? Do we all wait until we've all seen it (or at least most) to start discussion, or do we just write about it as we see it?

We have some details to work out, but since I started the thread I'll take responsibility to update the thread/lists.

  8. I'm in.

I buy movies all of the time, and this might give me an excuse to watch some things that I might not watch otherwise.

"All creatures will DIE, and all things will be BROKEN: That is the law of the SAMURAI."

    Me too.

  10. Ok, Here are my suggestions for genre films:
    Death Race 2000
    Assault on Precinct 13
    Hellraiser
    Class of Nuke'em High
    Blood Feast
    Cabin Fever
    The Warriors
    Re-Animator
    Enter the Dragon
And of course, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre
