Thread: Marvel Cartoons?

  1. Marvel Cartoons?

during my christmas break I spent a lot of my time just watching Toon Disney(I just got it) I didn't remeber the Spider-man and X-Men shows being so well done and faithful to the comics. Why no love to these toons yet countless praise for crap like The Tick and Batman Beyond.

    Yeah I said it.

  2. X-Men had the best intro theme ever.

  3. I can agree with Batman Beyond, but the Tick was great.

  4. Best Saturday morning cartoon viewing ever was back in the day when Fox had Spider-Man at 10, The Tick at 10:30, and X-Men at 11. That hour-and-a-half block was a holy time for me.

X-men was okay, but Spider-man's animation had the shittiest framerate and direction in the history of the worrrrld.

And fuck you, BB and the Tick are awesome. I knew you had shitty taste, but damn.

I agree BB was the shit. But so was X-men. I recently watched an ep of the old spiderman...i used to think it was sooo cool when he was swinging through the city...now it looks like crap...

Some of it was, some of it was completely in left field. They completely redesigned the origin for Electro, had Chameleon take an entirely different turn, and Red Skull was related to both(not in the comics). Overall, it wasn't bad, but there is some stuff that a Spidey fan would just say "What." to if they saw it.

  9. The Tick is one of my favorite shows ever.

The X-men and Spiderman shows were decent, but lacking in style and production value (especially when compared to Batman, and even Superman). They were very faithful, though, as you said, and they were good shows.

  10. I like all of those cartoons, although I have no attachment to Batman Beyond whatsoever.

And yes The Tick was amazing, so shut your dirty mouth.
