I should be getting it in the mail then?
The Xbox "marketing committee" recently sent me some news on this new program -- Xbox Live Diamond, created specifically for Xbox Live Gold Members.
Basically having this card will instantly qualify you for special promotions and deals offered at select retailers (more to come).

Hm -- one important disclaimer: Xbox LiveŽ 12-month subscribers on the original Xbox or Xbox 360 (either with an annual subscription or twelve (12) continuous months of paid subscription) will receive a free Xbox Live Diamond Card.
I should be getting it in the mail then?
This is genius.
But I wouldn't use any of those offers other than maybe the Arby's/Quizno's
Note of warning - if there's a problem signing up, DO NOT e-mail any information via the e-mail link provided. The address is wrong, and all mail is being received by some third party that has nothing to do with Microsoft.
There was a story about it up on Engadget or Joystiq, I think it was.

And what's with these stupid third-party organizations collecting our personal information. Death to them all.
I signed up, I was surprised to see them list Animal Crossing in the simulation area when they could have put a PC-centric game in there instead of putting over a Nintendo product.
