For some reason I really, really want guilty gear. Is it too much to ask for a good portable fighter with a decent control?
It really is impossible to disagree with opinion. The best you can hope for is a conflicting stance with mine, as I see you've graciously saddled yourself with you sly cowboy you.Originally Posted by Spike
Look, a lot of the games on the PSP list (Loco Roco, Harvest Moon, Splinter Cell and potentially the ICO developer's project all have me looking. Even some of the ports are dandy in my book) tickle my fancy. I do readily admit, however, that the DS does have an edge. As big an edge as some make it seem around here? Absolutely not.
Out there selling their crap, I'd reckon. I am not claiming the DS isn't beating the PSP in terms of support (or sales), but the PSP is hardly a dead system, or even a dying system. The list Andy posted is plentiful. The difference between the DS and PSP is the DS has about 4 or 5 system sellers and the PSP has none, which is a big hole to be in when the cost of owning your system is so high (and the price of games is higher, as well).Come on, mate. You say that now, but after the way the DS totally dominated Japan in December, you can bet that there is going to be a shitload of new content announced for the DS. Where will the PSP be then?
I personally kind of like the flip-top of the DS. Makes it feel that much more manly.
Hell, even in Europe, which is Sony country, the DS is still a little ahead of the PSP in sales.I'm not certain what your point about sales is here Stephanie, but I'm going to do us all a favour and just chalk it up to psychobabble rambling and ignore it altogether. Not to discount the PSP in any way because it's a damn fine system, but I think Sony forgot that it is a portable 'gaming' system.

Here's the games I want-
Super Princess Peach
New Super Mario Bros. (!1)
Metroid Prime Hunters (The multiplayer on this is going to be insane)
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
Electroplankton
Where do Babies Come from/The Rub Rabbits
Super Monkey Ball: Touch and Roll
Guilty Gear: Dust Strikers
Age of Empires: Age of Kings
"All creatures will DIE, and all things will be BROKEN: That is the law of the SAMURAI."
Mars, nope. It's pretty sad that the best way to get 2D fighting on the go that plays well is to plug an SF II game into the Nomad.

Actually, that's probably why we're never going to see them.Originally Posted by Kev
Andy's forgotten all the cool Strategy First games that are being ported to the DS, like Disciples and Jagged Alliance.
