Thread: Futurama Definitely Going Back into cancellation, like it should

  1. Drawn Together has had some funny moments, like when Homer and Marge made a cameo appearance in a recent episode. The IMDB entry for the Futurama movie has been shown to be unreliable, and that's the thing most people are going on when talking about the movie coming out.

  2. I think it's kinda funny they want to do this being as they put Prison Break on hiatus because of 24 and American Idol coming back, their weekly line up was pretty packed.

The current schedule doesn't mean much since we wouldn't see new episodes for at least a year, even if they got the greenlight to start tomorrow.

Yes, it has some great shows on it too, but that doesn't mean the entire network/station is a great thing. That's like saying Fox is a good network because it has Family Guy and Futurama
I remember when they had old SNL, Kids in the Hall, Almost Live, SCTV, Short Attention Span Theater (and showed stand-up more often in general), MST3K, The Critic, and The Tick... They have fallen FAR since those days.

Yes, THOSE were the days. I remember the Daily Show with no audience... although it's definitely an amazing show now, and Jon Stewart is a MUCH better host.

  6. Kilborn was good... I'd have to see an old show to make a comparison to today's, as Stewart was a little off in his early days.

I can confidently say that Vance Degeneres > all other reporters the show has had, though.

Double true, that's when the channel was at its best.

To be honest, I haven't watched much TV at all this year, so I can't judge it well, but Drawn Together does suck. Reno 911 is pretty damn good though. Mad TV can eat a million dicks.

  9. They have Scrubs now, apparently, so that's a step in the right direction.

  10. Regardless of the previous conflict between what West and Cohen said, this update is great news. I wish they'd just cancel the Simpsons too. Al Jean wants it to beat Gunsmoke's record for # of seasons on the air, make it stop!
