Thread: Time Crisis 4

  1. Arcade Time Crisis 4

    http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=546 (System 16's Namco System 258 page)

EDIT: Time Crisis 4 is now on System Super 256. http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=872

Gamefront says Namco is releasing it in Japan this summer. I bet a graphically upgraded version will be one of the PS3's first titles. Unfortunately there aren't any actual game play shots at the above link (just demos and cutscenes).

  2. They need to develop a gun that works with HDTV.

  3. lightguns are useless on anything flatscreen, I've had the same problem playing HOTD2.

I played them all the time on my flatscreen tv. Picture tube though.

If Timecrisis 4 comes out for PS3 or 360 and somehow works on all highdef tvs' I'll be happy. If the new gun works on the older versions of Timecrisis I'll be bloody friggin nutz.

I know CRT is just too bulky/heavy for me, so I will never buy another. I miss my light gun games, TC2 and 3 are my favorites.

They could make a gun with movement sensors in it rather than a optical lightgun. E-Real Games' wireless RGT gun uses a camera on top of the TV to track the gun's position.

Somehow they'll probably come up with a HDTV gun. They'll need to.

  9. Fry's sells an HDTV compatible light gun (box says it works on projectors, too) for PS2. It's even guncon 2 compatible...$50, though, and I haven't bought it so I can't vouch for how good it is. Also, I thought the madcatz HotD3 gun had an HDTV variant...

Voila, at last. Magic Box has some more pics of actual gameplay in TC4. You'll be able to use Heavy Machine Guns and Mounted MGs (apparently one scene has you shooting from a helicopter).
