For rilly. Shame on all of you for being mean to something that doesn't deserve it.

I think the key to enjoying the combat is to think of it like an mmo. You highlight an enemy, and then the auto attack goes from there, and your job is to simply activate skills. now, the one thing i disliked is that skill points were awarded so infrequently, so combat is generally a slugfest rather than something strategic, as you generally save skill points for stronger monsters, but given how much i enjoyed the rest of the game, i let it slide. Overall its still a great game that has enough originality in the story and presentation to overcome the combat system.

In addition to the boring combat mentioned above, I find the game to be quirky just to be quirky. I chuckled once or twice (after playing for about 10 hours), but the majority of the time, it is very dry. I don't have a problem with fetch quest, but this one makes everything so mundane, so boring that I find it very hard to want to go through the motions. It was promising for the first hour and then it just dragged on and on and on.
If you hate yourself, play this.
I hate you, so i'll consider buying it again and playing it again. It's an unassuming game that makes no sweeping moves to convince you it's something it's not. It deserves no hate.

You are right, it doesn't deserve hate. In fact, it doesn't deserve anything except apathy. Maybe not even that.
