Not true. The Carver roast was horrible, the Ronnie roast was decent, but the Ralph and Artie roasts were amazing.

Howard should be one of the roasters but he's not.
Howard has said about a million times that he's not a comedian, he's a radio guy. I don't think his shtick, delivery or timing lends itself well to stand-up or a roast. He's better at interviews, reacting to things, and just being witty.

I don't buy it. Howard is an awesome roaster, just listen to his Imus rants, or his old Rosie O'Donnell and Kathy Lee rants. He roasts Gary on the show mercilessly at least once a month. He's been doing it for almost 30 years, but he won't do it at an actual roast?! He just doesn't want to bother sitting down to write stuff. It's an easy show to have comedians in and do it, but they don't know the roast-e like the core gang does, so the jokes are always lame. Sal is consistently the best roaster, and he's a guy who is almost never funny! It would be so much better if they just did it themselves with a couple celebrity guest roasters thrown in. I can't take the group of third rate comedians leeching on the show anymore. Will Bob Levey please die already?

IBTN. As for the mainstays being roasted, I think they're going to wait until the show is going to end before they reach them. I think the Andy Dick roast is going to be funny until it's Andy's turn to roast back.

I don't know, I find the guy very entertaining. He's funny, and when he's not, he's still funny because he's retarded.

He's moderately funny compared to everyone else, but his speech impediment is hilarious.

And I was cackling at Scott the Engineer this morning. His embarassment comment was priceless and the uncontrollable laugher afterwards was gold.

  6. Alright folks, prepare yourselves. Tomorrow is the Andy Dick Roast! I'm curious to hear how brutal everyone (especially Sal) is going to be tomorrow.

I also heard the promotion for the upcoming Miss Tranny contest. I'm really not looking forward to that bit.

  7. Like I said above, I don't care about the Andy Dick roast.

I'm more looking forward to the jokes tomorrow that will be directed at Sal and Richard for the ball-licking incident.

Speaking of which, Sal fucking has kids. Can you think of how much shit they must take in school on a daily basis because of their homo father? They really must want to run away and join the circus or something more normal.

  8. Should be pretty funny tomorrow

  9. The roast wasn't bad. The comics were especially brutal towards Robin.

  10. Not as good as the Artie Roast, but there were a lot of funny moments. Here's the rundown.

Bob Levy - Surprisingly good. Faltered when he got to Artie, but his Robin fat jokes were great.

Chuli - He was good, but faltered near the end

Colin Quinn - Not bad. Wished he stayed longer.

Benji - Yeesh. He had a couple of good lines, but he desperately needed to cut his stuff down.

Dave Attell - He was good. His Teri Schiavo joke had me rolling.

Sal - Good but not as vicious as his previous roasts. I wish he attacked Howard.

Greg Fitzsimmons - Also good, but like the other comics, he faltered at the end.

Artie - Disappointed. Not that he was bad, but he wasn't as good as his previous roasts.

Yukko the Clown - Yikes! He won't be back for the next roast.

Lisa - Not bad for a closer. She had some good lines.

Andy Dick - I knew the roast would go bad when it was Andy's turn and I was right. Outside of a couple of good lines, Andy was flopping around like a fish out of water. His "Hilter's looking for you!" song did make me laugh, as awkward as it was.

The biggest surprise was John Stamos bringing in Don Rickles after the roast. Wish Don could have stayed longer.
