I agree mostly with everyone that the human scenes were too many and unnessesary. I think on one hand it is neat to show the mood of the humans during this event, the characters used were horrible. I hated the main character so much. Was it his acting, or his lines? I don't know, but hes on my shit list now.

Who is not on my shitlist is bumblebee, who should take all of that guys acting roles henceforth.
I said it once and i'll say it again:

Bumblebee couldnt talk and had more personality than the human cast. That is sad.

No. There is absolutely nothing terrible about Wild Zero. To say anything of the sort is nothing less than a personal offense to me. Pistols at dawn, asshole.

p.s. Transformers was exactly what I expected. A big, dumb action movie that was tons of fun. Would definitely see it again. However, yeah, I agree that too much time was wasted on relatively uninteresting humans and not enough time was spent on the robots that should have been the focus. If you weren't already a fan, you wouldn't know anything about any of them, really. Of course, the average moviegoer wouldn't really give a shit, and I don't blame them. Visually awesome movie, and overall a hell of a lot better than it could have been.

I don't mind Shia LaBeouf. I don't think he was bad here, and I didn't think he was bad in Constantine. Not that I really thought Constantine was that great or anything, but it was free and I had fun. Actually felt bad when he died.

  4. hi guys

i saw this movie and i have some questions

what was going on with the cars and robots, how are they one in the same it does not make much sense. how does a car turn into a robot and how does the robot talk, do robots even exist in the first place?

where does the fuel from the car go in robot form and has there ever been a time when a car accidently turned into a robot when someone was in it?

also if these really do exist how can i get one and how much do they cost
    hi guys

ComingSoon.net (via Variety) has posted an update on the worldwide box office for Michael Bay's Transformers:

Transformers remained a solid overseas player with $30 million at 6,118 in 53 markets. The movie's foreign total has hit $296 million, nearly matching the domestic total. Transformers, which has exceeded Paramount's expectations offshore, should become the 48th pic to hit the $300 million international mark in a few days. It will be the fifth summer tentpole -- but first non-sequel -- to cross that milestone this summer after Spider-Man 3, "At World's End," "Order of the Phoenix," and Shrek the Third.

With $592.3 million worldwide, we would say you can expect that official sequel announcement any day now.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

  7. I am catching up on all the summer movies finally.

This movie sucked for the first 45 minutes and from then on it was only decent. And when I say sucked I mean probably one of the 3 worst movies I've ever seen. I liked the scenes with the Transformers at his parent's house. I think that saved the movie.

The funniest stuff was all the lame hacker talk. They don't even attempt to make it plausible, all the explanations are pure garbage. They sound something my mom would make up to try to explain computers. It was cool to finally see that computer signals are actually made up of little purple blobs and chinese characters. All this time I thought they were voltage waveforms! At least now I know what's traveling through all those tubes. How does an Australian get top level American security clearance anyway?

It was typical Bay though. I shouldn't have expected anything less than super cheese at every possible moment.

If you'll excuse me now I have to run out and buy a Nokia phone, HP computer, Furby, Mountain Dew, some Panasonic flash memory, and a Chevrolet.
