Personally, I think whenever they start a new "sequel series" like X, Zero, and now this, they're generally good, and help make the series interesting again.

Agreed. X is easily my favorite super nintendo game, or at the very least it was the most played.

Capcom treats sub-series like most companies treat individual sequels. That said, I'm quite interested in this one since I'm a sucker for Metroidvania style play.

the exe series is good.

i'll probably get this when it comes out along with a ds. i didn't really like the zero series. i got a hold of zero4 yesterday and started playing it. the game feels like a chore.
