Yay Corpse Bride DVD comes out this month! Corpsebridedvd.com I think any movie Tim Burton touches turns to gold. He Jonny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are unstoppable! How many other Tim Burton fars are on the forum?

Tim Burton is alright. Extremely overrated by some critics. So is Johnny Depp for that matter.

I think Tim Burton gets a lot of benefit of the doubt with his new stuff, but come on. He has made some fucking great movies.

Beetlejuice, Pee Wee, Ed Wood and Batman Returns. Possibly even Edward Scissorhands. Everything else was pure dreck. I wish he made more movies like Pee Wee and Beetlejuice instead of remaking shit that doesn't need to be remade.

I've yet to watch Corpse Bride but it's on my queue. FWIW, I really like his character designs (even though they end up in shitty movies like Big Fish.)

I'd also include the first Batman and NBX. Which really adds up to enough of a catalogue to give anyone some real credibility.

First Batman didn't age to well. NBX was only written by Burton and kinda died for me on repeat viewings.

Face it, he hasn't made a decent movie in 12 years (barring Corpse Bride of course)
