I take it that you been getting owned by staggers? I remember Reno touching upon that in his DOA3 review. And it also sucks that command throws still seems to be impossible to counter.

  2. 1up says the PS3 comment was a typo. Here is what they say the message says:
The PR statement reads as follows: "Regarding our impressions of the next generation systems, we don't really have enough information about the PS3 or Revolution at the moment. On the other hand, we think Xbox 360's online system will really heat up matches so we've scheduled the next two DoA titles for PS3".
Xbox 360's online system... on the PS3. Hrm. Some silly typo? A freudian slip? A massive conspiracy? Who cares -- do with this as you will.

    Mash buttons!

No, really. You know how staggers are escapable quicker via spinning the joystick in VF? This works for every single stun in DoA4. Normal stuns, wall stuns, back-turned stuns, guard crushes, panty flashes, you name it.

The proper way to do it is to spin the pad/stick once, and then hold G to block out of the stun. For a normal stun you need 16 inputs (two revolutions), but the number of inputs goes up on 'harder' stuns (hi-counter, back-turned, slip, etc.)
