But really, the DS was sold out last month. It will pick up next month with more shipments, and I'm fucking excited even though I already own one.
The age is a bit out of the demographic, but the interest still fits what PSP caters to.Originally Posted by sethsez

Of portable gaming systems, no. That's why I didn't add that qualifier to the sentence.
I have to admit, I'm kind of curious about how much gaming he'll end up doing. It's always interesting to see how someone new to the hobby (and outside its usual audience) comes into it, and if they stay around for a while or just drift away.

That's sarcasm, right? But really, the DS was sold out last month. It will pick up next month with more shipments, and I'm fucking excited even though I already own one.

My old man isn't new to gaming though. He bought our family the Atari 2600 and we played many games of Warlords and such together. During the home computer craze he bought a trash-80 and a few games as well. He then moved onto PC games and bought the Genesis and SNES long after the kids had moved away from home.Originally Posted by James
I remember going back home and bringing my Playstation and Saturn along. I came back to the house after hanging with my cousins and brother and my old man was playing Last Gladiators on the Saturn. He loved the game.

Do you think you're clever or something? Seriously, why even post shit like this?Originally Posted by James
I can play Super Mario 64 on my N64. I can play Mario Kart on a bajillion Nintendo systems. I can play Tetris for free. Who gives a shit? Similarly, who cares if LCS is coming to PS2 when I can play it now, in portable form, wherever I want?and it's coming to PS2. Assuming you mean GTA, of course. I'm actually looking forward to playing that once it hits a console with a controller advanced enough to give me a controllable camera.
As for the camera, suck it up and push L to center the view. Or hold L and manipulate the analog stick to manually control the camera. It works great.

The PSP is a great piece of hardware and is now getting some good software. I will definitely buy one at some point, when the price is lower.

Please don't post bullshit like this anymore. There are lots of great movies on UMD now. Don't blame them for your bad taste in cinema.Originally Posted by James
It is overpriced but I've seen plenty of sales here and there for them. I'd never buy them though.
