And get this, I came in 2nd, and Mike D came in 1st, this was in 88. Fast forward to like 95, a new kid moves to the neighborhood and has Genesis, I go over to his place to hang out and he has the 1st place medal. Sure enough after 7 years I finally found the fucker that got 1st place and stole my fucking gameboy from me (That was the 1st place prize)

Great thread. Korly looks a lot like my cousin in those pics. He would have been around the same age at that time.

The point of this thread though, is to get other people to post shit about how they were "hardcore" when they were little. Like, you know, an ikaruga baby blanket or something.

i was so hardcore i got a ton of activision patches..i cant find more than 3 though, so i am dishonored. dolphin was my favorite, used to be able to fake out the octotopus even when he was practicly on top of me. and the hardest was frigging robot tank, it got to the point that it felt like they were sniping you from space. spider fighter and megamania were also high points.

Playing Kaboom (my all time favorite game) with my Daddy.

Quite possibly the best game ever. Most definetly the best thing to ever come out of Activision.

I bought Activision collection (or whatever it was called) for PSOne JUST so I could play Kaboom, but the game is completely ruined without a paddle. And, it didn't even have analog stick support.
