Thread: Yoshi's 360 Wishlist

  1. I loved seeing Crash games on non-Sony systems, it made the Nintendo-bashing ads and Sony-based hype seem even more pointless.

You're completely retarded if you're trying to tell me that Crash isn't first party. Crash was the freakin' PSX mascot (or at least it's as close to a mascot as they ever got). Crash was developed by Naughty Dog until the PS2 days when they sold the rights to Universal. Spyro was the same deal, but they were originally developed by Insomniac.

    Truth.
    No way in hell is Square considered First Party obviously your definition of first party is completely different from the rest of the worlds, just because sony published it here in the states doesn't make it a first party, if that was the case then you would have to consider every square game on the GBA and GC first party, then you would have to consider Soul Calibur II on the GC first party, and tons of other GBA and GC games that Nintendo published here in the states, and Naughty Dog wasn't owned by Sony back then, it may have been considered the PSX's mascot but I still dont consider it first party cause it was created by a company NOT Owned by Sony

    there's a difference between First Party Stuff and something published by sony, a huge freaking difference, Nintendo publishes alot of 3rd party games here in the states that doesn't make them first party games

    first party refers to games developed INTERNALLY by a company or by one of the companys they own

  3. First party games are the ones that are published by the company that makes the system.

    Wario World for the GC was a first party game. Was it developed by Nintendo? No. It was developed by Treasure. Does Nintendo own Treasure? No.

    No shit. Square is a developer, not a game. Final Fantasy VII was first party.

  4. A first party title has to be produced (produced not = published) and or developed by the hardware developer. Shin's right.
    PSN = knarlockk
    Steam= kevinb150

  5. Great. Now that that is established, who is going to go through the list and find out what role Sony had in each game?

    Nobody, I would bet.

  6. I hate this topic. It's stupid.

    THERE! SOMEONE ELSE WILL HAVE TO SCROLL THROUGH THAT SHIT NOW TO SEE THAT I DIDN'T CONTRIBUTE ANYTHING.
