Thread: The lost games

  1. The lost games

Just listing some gaming gear I gave up on, just to help me come to terms with my losses. (sorry for this GAF'ish list thread)

-A guy from my first year on college borrowed my Silent Hill (psx). Last time I asked him he had forgotten all about it, he fixes with syringes nowadays, so it's def lost.

-My cousin has my Nintendo 64 and 30 games. It was originally stolen from Blockbuster and I believe the games were stolen too, as I purchased them from a drug dealer. I tried to get this back for years.

-A friend borrowed a DC vmu and 2 ps/2->DC adaptors. I don't really miss these, but he claimed he knew nothing about it, but by principle this annoys me. At least this guy found my 'lost' RE:CV (DC) after he had misplaced it for 2-3 years.

That's all I can remember offhand, phew, good thing I got this off my chest.

  2. I don't lend shit I care about to people, unless I trust them 100%. Fuck that, 150%.

  3. stop lending things to crack heads.

now adays most of my friends don't ask to borrow my games 'cause...well...i don't buy all the hot/new/hip titles and if we like a game someone else has we buy our own copies. the last game i lent to someone was that gameboy mega man game for metroid 2. i gave the guy back his metroid to 'cause i beat it and then he like...disapeared from school. that was like...in 7th grade, though. oh, and in 9th grade my first copy of mario 3 was stolen out of my locker.

  4. GRIM FANDANGO. DAVE. WHERE IS IT.

  5. My NES Advantage stick, NES Zapper, and Official Nintendo Players Guide is lost in my parent's basement. Considering I am feuding with them and may never see them again, so will it be with said NES goodies.

I have plenty 'O other people's treasures though:

Solar Jetman (NES)- old friend lent this to me 10+ years ago.
Saturn Arcade Stick- another friend left this at my house. He's in jail now.
Bust a Move (JP)- college roomate flunked out, left this for me
Phantasy Star III- idiot roomate overdosed on drugs, so I helped myself to this game
Super Off Road: The Baja- found this at the side of Rt 18, unopened

  6. Megaman X4 - let my brother's friend borrow this about 7 or 8 years ago.
Megaman Legends - Let my cousin borrow this 6 years ago. I'd be surprised if it was still in one piece, considering how they handle games

I think that's about it, people don't usually lose my games, they just fuck them and/or the box up

  10. Years ago in high school, I lent a friend my Versus Books Street Fighter Alpha 2 Strategy Guide. It had a whole bunch of awesome Capcom artwork (which is why he wanted to borrow it) and the bastard never gave it back (lost touch with him after high school ended). I'm still bitter about that.
