Samurai Shodown V came out for Xbox today. It's a mix of V and Special on the Neo in the fact that it includes all of the boss characters, but it appears that SNK's promise of 'Special only being on the Neo' is true since that's all this game shares with that version...

Meh. Too bad we will never be seeing the "special" version in an affordable format- forever trapped on the Neo Geo.

MVS is the way I go. AES is just for collectors.

I have the PS2 version. It's not that bad a game. Just not as good as 1-4.
Did they make any new art for this one?
The way I look at it is its free so I can't complain too much.

Isn't special missing some characters and backgrounds from SSV anyway?
This port sounds like it has everything from both versions.
