Killzone was one of those games I was really kind of rooting for, and ended up just forgetting about it because a wave of screenshots was released that didn't whet my whistle. This game looks like a lot of fun.
Saying that Killzone is the best FPS on the PS2. That's not impressive. At all.

Killzone was a good console FPS, in many respects for its atmosphere. The gameplay was pretty much the same as any standard FPS but it did it as well as something like the first Halo, while the design gave it a nice feel that I enjoyed. As a stealth/action third-person game... ehhhh, I don't know. What I liked was the whole running forward tearing through groups of enemies with as many headshots as the controls would allow, and this is a wholly different beast and I'm not sure I care about it.
Maybe. We'll see.

BTW, Killzone = Awesome design + amazing atmosphere + average gameplay + crummy engine. Still, I enjoyed it when it wasn't chugging and would like to see a true PS3 sequel. As for this game...I dunno.

Darkwatch most likely. The PS2 even has a co-op mode.Originally Posted by Giga Power

This isnt compared to the PSP MGS but the console versions.
If we're counting multi-platform releases then TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is the best FPS on the PS2, soon to be replaced by BLACK.Originally Posted by Yoshi
