Thread: Killzone: Liberation

  1. Just a heads up, there's a demo up for download at the usual places I guess.
I'm too stupid to dabble in these kind of things so impressions would be cool.

Go check out PSP sites. They have PSP sites that hosts these files and people will have impressions on the game. I would get it but the file is only like 32MB. Not worth my time of downloading, loading onto stick. I'll wait for full version before giving it a try.

  3. Or you can just walk into pretty much any GameStop or EB Games, where they have a pile of demos of the game sitting in the back that they were supposed to give out for pre-orders.

    No one pre-ordered it.

I doubt nine stores out of ten would just give the demo away, considering how hard up the stores are for pre-orders nowadays.

You be surprised. I heard alot of people have gotten demos just by walking in and asking.

  6. I meant to make a thread about this, I was sent the demo in the mail and was wondering if anyone else got it.

I didn't play the original PS2 game, but the demo is alright....although really short. You can also play online, but no one is ever playing when I'm on.

The game is pretty much like a fast action MGS type game with a high up isometric type camera. It has an auto target which makes things more fast and easy. Plus you get some decent cool weapons. I think this will be pretty fun online if they stages are done right. So anyone else get this in the mail?

I got the demo in the mail about two weeks ago, but put it aside and didn't open the wrapping until two hours ago.

It's great! The game plays slightly like a modernized and more serious version of Cannon Fodder, which is definitely a good thing. The graphics are highly detailed, with some good animation and cool environmental interaction. My only complaint about the demo is that it's rather short (only one level). I would be interested in trying the full game when it's released.

  8. does this game have infrastructre?

  9. There is a demo with the new OPM (Guitar Hero 2 demo) and I was blown away. After playing that shitty Gangs of London demo I had just about given up hope on the PSP but Killzone is a lot of fun. The demo isn't that long but it has a nice MGS feel to it, a very pleasant surprise.

I am going to preorder it when I hit GS for the Wii and PS3 preorders with week

The PSP needs for more games like this and Tekken.
