TNL Movie: Return of the Killer Tomatoes

Have you ever seen Attack of the Killer Tomatoes? Forget it. It sucks. It's so bad it's not even funny. But this... oh, this is a completely different story.

Maybe you remember the old Killer Tomatoes saturday morning cartoon; this is the basis for it. It's got Wilbur and his stupid parachute, it's got Tara, the tomato who is turned into a girl, it's got the mad scientist and the surfer boy Igor... but MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, it is George Clooney's big screen debut.

I haven't seen it in years and have forgotten most of it, so I'll have to watch it again myself. I think I have it on tape, but who the fuck has a VCR anymore? I really hope this is out on DVD by now.

I haven't seen this one. But I'm guessing no one has. I have some extra cash though so I'm going to search around and see if I can snatch it for cheap.

OK, I am watching this and Ghost Dog this week. I have never seen any of the Killer Tomatoes movies.

Edit: OMG, I just remembered that I got the "Campy Classics" Fright Pack DVD set for Xmas. I just checked it and I own a copy of Return of the Killer Tomatoes. Score!
