Yeah, I like the psuedo SF3 one, just because my brain has been wired to parry and I don't appreciate how often I tap myself into in SFA3. Most characters I've played don't seem very well suited to the Darkstalkers'esque ism, even though they have a magic chain moves don't combo or you push target out of range before getting to the bigger hits. Pushblock is interesting though.

The Classic ism is kinda inconsistent. It seems a little different for each character. Ken ends up having his VS type moves, for instance...most everyone ends up having a bunch of supers. I have fun just seeing what weird choices that made for each character in that mode.

When you said "Classic" I thought you were talking about the SF2CE one, and I was like "wait, what?" and then it occured to me that you meant the one next to the Classic spot, the Marvel/Vs. one. It's really weird, that one. Ryu seems to get nothing but an altered shin shoryuken, and Sakura's got her huge fireballs, air fireballs, ground to air fireballs, and shun goku satsu! Craziness. Guy's teleport is ridiculously weird, but really cool, hehe.

The SF2CE ISM rocks. Mashing weak attacks for combos, no supers, no guard meter, no air blocks, no bullshit! One button throws and crazy damage. After Guile sucked so hard in A3, I figured I'd never want to play him in this collection, and the SF2CE ISM fixes that. Marvel as Zangief's headbutt dizzies in one hit!

Yeah they're older and due to their valued stock, anychance of seeing capcom make another game baised on their franchise is never gonna happen unless Marvel themselves paid them to do it.

Anyway... I just nabbed this last night and I'm really going nuts over the number of modes and options this disk has for every game on there. Being able to play alpha 3 upper without having to look at the downgraded graphics on my DC is a dream come true, plus I can't belive how good the colors look now.

I was hoping at some point it would finally get emulated by the mame community, but capom got off their ass and did it themselves. Bravo!
