I used to feel that way too.

Too bad money isn't the most important thing in the world. You see all these people who bust there ass working 50 hours a week or more so they "can retire and live the good life". So they work and work and retire at 60ish with their 50K or so in the bank if they're lucky, only to be too old to really doing anything they enjoy.

I'm sorry, but for me working my entire life just to "enjoy" ten years or so is crap.

It's makes more sense to either find a way to "retire" very early or find a job that you genuinely enjoy and do that, regardless of how much it pays.

Money and financial security isn't very difficult to find if you put a bit of thought into it and some elbow grease.

Finding happiness and living a life that you are thrilled to wake up every morning and live is a helluva lot harder.

Good luck on whatever your decide!

Here's the thing, I don't hate waking up because of work, I hate waking up because it's well... waking up

  6. Ok well let's put a different spin on this.

If you guys had my decision, what would you choose? I think I will really enjoy cooking once I get the hang of everything. It's just this decision is seemingly life changing. That's why I'm hung up on it. I realize in a couple years I'll probably look back and realize it isn't that big but still... right now it is.

  7. The smoothy industry is currently expanding.

What crack are you smoking? $50,000? Are you nuts? You should have $50K saved up for retirement before you're 30. My gf's dad started from nothing, retired at 50 or so as a multi-millionaire, and is living the high life going on vacations, doing whatever the fuck he wants. He didnt do anything particularly special either, outside of staying out of debt.

FACT: anyone with half a brain could live well and retire comfortably at a reasonable age.

Please come back when you know what you're talking about.

jonas since I dont mean to just troll, if you think you can enjoy or at least mostly sorta like cooking, go for it. Multimedia isnt gonna get you anywhere (ive read robobo, no offense) and retail, just kill yourself instead. If you think you'd absolutely hate, despite it, dont bother.
