I was under the impression it was a combo of both CGI and mask/makeup.That was makeup. And RotS has a nomination for makeup.
Anyways, to each their own.
Woah, Batman Begins got a nomination?
That's cool. I doubt it will win based on the competition but still...
So Crash won best picture.
I really don't know what else to say.
"Chuy, you're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."
It was the best movie this year so it deserved it. I saw it in January. It was amazing. You embarrass me. You embarrass yourself. Hoffman won for best actor, Reese Witherspoon for best actress, Ang Lee won best director for Brokeback Mountain. It was a pretty good night.

Pretty bad show, more pretentious than usual and lame dvd-bashing. Jon Stewart was funny however.
edit: I also cant believe that you can say "Oscar Winners Three Six Mafia" in total seriousness.

I can't believe I witnessed Crunchy Black of the Three Six Mafia holding an Oscar. The Oscars are crunk. Hell yeah.
I thought Crash sucked. I didn't see any of the other nominees though, but I'm sure they must have been better.
So does Magnolia get like half of the Oscar for Crash or do they get a percentage of the profits?
Barf! Barf! Barf!
