Ok, it was senior year of highschool. One of the guys (a girl in this case) told me about how both Blind Gaurdian and Gamma Ray were going to play at Atlanta at a metal festival. Well I poked around the message board for the festival and found a thread made by the promotor saying he would trade 5 gold badges (between a ticket and a vip pass) for 2 really good Jimmy Buffet tickets.

Well I got on ebay and found two second row tickets. I got a lown from my dad to buy them (they were like 500 or 700 for both of them) and traded them with the promoter. I've been on the Gold badge list ever since then.

During those shows I've met all sorts of cool people. I've drank, congradulated, talked, and gotten pics with tons of bands. I even ate breakfast with one group one year. I've done everything from share some jack with ex members of this and that, to helping the lead singer fix his guitar for another band.

And all becuase of ebay.

Five bucks, awesome condition, and it came with a four-player link cable. First hub ever.

Wow this brings back memories... I had 4 packs of these at one point (it was really cheap, they came with this and the 4 player link cable, and I think another game). I think I threw them away when I had to move cross country
