Thread: This Month's Haul: February

  1. GCN Component Cables.

  2. Bought Capcom Classics PS2 last week and love it. Solid comp. Am hoping to order Gradius Portable tomorrow and next Tuesday will probably pick up MM X and place an order for Rajirugi.

edit: And I always thought that Bomberman NES art was beyond weird. But I like it cuz it at least looks like Samus....

  3. Congrats on the CCC purchase. I picked up the PS2 version as well and fell in love with it. It's also a dream to play on the Retrocon, although the SFs don't work well with it.

Yeah the sheer variety for just $19.99 is great. If only the peeps @ Konami would have as much pride in their past as Capcom and Taito do. grrrr

  5. Castlevania Double Pack (GBA)
    Alien Hominid (GCN)
    Time for a change

  6. I had to get a few titles out of the way and flesh out the rest of my Carpenter collection. I kept holding out on They Live in hope of a special edition. Of course, now that I've bought it, Universal should announce it any day now. As for Dark Star and Mouth of Madness, I've never seen them before (but the price was right). I'll probably pick up the rest during the next DDD sale.

I read my first issue of the genre zine Shock Cinema a week ago and totally fell in love with it. This book contains most of his earlier writings.

A supposed gritty recount of the deuce. I'm reading it mainly to compare with my dad's stories of the place.

  7. they live is great.
look here, upon a sig graveyard.

  8. The R2 version has a commentary and some other junk. I'm too cheap and lazy to upgrade my players and spend a premium on imports though.

I took all your French Toast.

  10. Soooooo much better then that shitty D-Link router my ex-roommate had.

Had to replace the modem too. My pocketbook cries.

Keys are stiff but as I'm breaking it in I think it's going to turn out quite awesome. It's my WoW gamepad.

    Oh hells yeah.

While I was picking up Conan on a whim at Walmart last night the lady at the DVD section mentioned to my friend and I the releases that came out that night (we were there at about midnight), which included the Doom DVD. So as we're leaving the guy ahead of us in line had only one item. He actually went to a 24 hour Walmart solely for the midnight release of the Doom movie.
