Then he could always come to the Yankees.....
There's nothing difficult here...the Mets are one of baseball's top spenders and will have absolutely no problem resigning Wright. And he's also not worth almost twice what Reyes is going to make.

  2. IBTN one great season does not a superstar make, I'm looking at you Brady Anderson.

If I were the Mets or Yanks, I'd go for Cliff Lee, the Tribe won't be able to afford him, and he's due for a new contact.

In the offseason of course, tribe could use an outfielder like Lastings or a two bagger like Cano.

  3. Why on fuck's earth would the Mets trade Lastings for Cliff Lee?

And if you're talking about Wright, he's in the midst of his second great year.

  4. Pitching is way more valuable than hitting, especially if the pitcher is a lefty with a career winning percentage of over .600 with an up and down team. Lee would win 20 with the Mets.

Take off a half run and .25 in whip because he eliminates the DH's of the world and I'd say you have a world beater, but you have probably never seen him play.

I think Wright is good, buck I wouldn't toss him 15 million a year just yet.

  5. I don't think Cliff Lee is bad. I would take him. Not for Milledge though.

  6. Tribe would probably throw in a super prospect like Drennen (AA) to sweeten the pot, I'm telling you this guy is out this year, he'll want 4-6 million a year.

  7. What's 4 million for a guy you claim is worth a super prospect like Milledge?

  8. You have never met Dolan have you? The guy is the cheapest motherfucker on the planet.

  9. I doubt you've met him either (but I suppose it could have happened.)

  10. I worked for the Indians for two years in marketing and I never "met" him, but he's an ass, and because we were not selling out he eliminated raises for EVERYONE in the organization even though he personally profited over 15 million dollars.
