Oh I agree completely that he was a moron, but he's been a moron for decades and it's never cost him his job in and of itself.

I'm looking forward to this upcoming series against Chicago; the Yankees will have a rested bullpen and be pitching their postseason rotation, it'll be fun to see how they play this late in the season against the defending champs. I don't expect them to win the Randy Johnson game, but definately the games Wang and Mussina pitch. I think Wang especially will do really well, especially since so many of the Chicago hitters try to elevate the ball.

  2. For a few days Paul Lo Duca refused to talk to the media. He said the reason would be obvious in a few days. Well the reason is out....

If he did cheat on his wife he is a scumbag but in all honesty I don't give a shit as long as it doesn't impact his on the field play (which so far it hasn't as he's been red hot with the bat).

  3. If you marry a professional athlete you should expect him to cheat on you. I don't feel sorry for any player's wife.

  4. I don't either, because when their husbands cheat, they get divorced and paid nicely. Why the hell is any pro athlete married, anyway?

Also...while I can see how this is news...it's a little RIDICULOUS that this is on the front page of the Post. That's probably why Duke is so pissed.

Does that surprise you?? The NY Post is a worthless rag that is no better than the National Inquirer sometimes. Gotta sell those papers with headlines like that!

mmm..Lo Duca and his wife will both be on the radio together tomorrow at 11:00 am here in NYC (WFAN - Joe Benigno's show).

I didn't say he was going to the hall of fame, I said he's established himself as a top 2B in baseball, probably the best of all active and one of the best of 2B in recent memory. As Burg said, it's an offensively weak position however so I wouldn't be suprised if he gets voted in after he retires.

He's already improved on his 1st year and there's been rumors of other ball-clubs giving ejaculating trade proposals for him and Ryan Howard.

Don't leave us hanging, what happened?

  9. Is the woman on the cover Lo Duca's wife or girlfriend?
