Directed by Michel Gondry, you say? Interest level +1
Saw a preview of Dave Chapelle's new movie on ESPN or something the other day. Looks like it could be funny. Seems like a mixture of some of his live comedy, him walking around Brooklyn and Ohio, BS'ing with people, and a showcase for a really kick-ass hip-hop concert (Kwali,Roots, Fugees,Common, and more) that he hosts.

There was a preview of it on Oprah. It looked kinda corny. -1
was this post breakdown or pre?
dead prez is in it.. instant purachase...
That's a good question. I'm assuming it was post seeing as I doubt he would have time for something like this while he was still respecting the Comedy Central contract.Originally Posted by avatar
Pre. He did this in the summer of '04. It was probably taped between season 2 and 3.Originally Posted by avatar
Anyway, I really want to see this, if only for the music. He lined up some awesome performers. PLUS the Fugees reunion. But I know that Dave will be funny anyway, so that's just gravy.
I saw him on Oprah. I gotta say, his side of the story made perfect sense to me.
I like Dave, he's a good man.
What exactly did he have to say?Originally Posted by Do You Like Erotic?
