Saw a preview of Dave Chapelle's new movie on ESPN or something the other day. Looks like it could be funny. Seems like a mixture of some of his live comedy, him walking around Brooklyn and Ohio, BS'ing with people, and a showcase for a really kick-ass hip-hop concert (Kwali,Roots, Fugees,Common, and more) that he hosts.

That's a good question. I'm assuming it was post seeing as I doubt he would have time for something like this while he was still respecting the Comedy Central contract.

Pre. He did this in the summer of '04. It was probably taped between season 2 and 3.

Anyway, I really want to see this, if only for the music. He lined up some awesome performers. PLUS the Fugees reunion. But I know that Dave will be funny anyway, so that's just gravy.
