Mine is a launch PSP, I have no problems doing diagonals.

  3. Well, mine's just a sack of dongs then.

ditto. Well, there are "perks" to working in a videogame store. Ill have to test out this game on other used PSP's we have in the back to see if it is equally unplayable on those models...

  5. PSP dpad is total garbage. If you want the best solution, go to Ebay and look for these risers you can put under the pad. This means you have to take apart the system, buts it's a permanent fix unlike those Dpads that dont stay on.

  6. Yeah, I was going to look into that too.

Do any of those different colored replacement d-pad/ button packs offer a similar improvement?

  7. I don't know what you mean. You mean the thing I linked to versus the Dpads that come with certain games? The risers are better. They are permanent and feel like part of the system, since you are actually touching the real buttons still.

  8. Naw, I saw talking about something like this:

  9. Seems like it would, but I can only speak for this one. I've used it personally.

  10. You know what I'm doing RIGHT NOW?? Diagonals and quarter circles on my launch PSP at will, and it's GLORIOUS.
