Chux ghost is a killer. So no, not very accurate.
Thanks man. Yeah, that's kind of what I meant - you do f,f, then you have to wait a second to start the string or he goes into his popup, but you only have a split second to start the input because once he fully comes out of his dash animation you can't do it.
It's not even really worth it, since the first four hits are all high so it doesn't even work as a pressure tactic, and you get stuffed on the f,f,n half the time anyway.
Have you tried the ghosts yet? I haven't really messed around with them yet. How accurate are they?

What are you guys ranked? I haven't gotten too far, a Feng Wei at 4th Dan and a Kazuya at 5th.

I'm getting into Dragunov now, he's an absolute beast. I'm not sure why most places list him as mid tier; he's not ridiculous like Heihachi or Devil Jin, but he's got to be as good as Kazuya, maybe a notch behind Brian. His air combos are just nasty. 60 guaranteed dmg off a pop-up with a built-in dodge? Yes please.

Yeah, that guide was openly designed as a "noob" guide for the sole reason that if anyone who knows about tekken wants to read about it, they already know where to go(cough...zaibatsu...cough) to get the info.

Didn't see a thread for the PS3 version of this, so here we go:

Granted, this is still Tekken, which means it's no where near as good as stuff like Virtua Fighter and Soul Calibur, but at least this is a step in the right direction for Namco, and perhaps this means that we will finally see online play in the new Soul Calibur/Virtua Fighter releases.Sony's experiment in digital distribution last March was a bittersweet package for Tekken fans. Though GameSpot's reviewer called the download-only Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection "practically arcade-perfect," it lacked online play, which disappointed many fans of competition-oriented fighting series.
However, all may soon be forgiven, as Sony today has announced a major update is in store for Namco Bandai's brawler. Headlining the update will be the addition of a feature-heavy online mode. Fighters can participate in ranked and nonranked matches, with matchmaking options including an opti match, quick match, custom match, and friend match.
Further fueling the competition, players can view their opponents' stats and voice-chat with one another while observing others' fisticuffs. The online mode will also include a news ticker, which will be regularly updated with the weekly, monthly, and overall rank leaders.
Also included in the update will be two new single-player modes. Practice mode affords you a virtual dojo, where you can practice your moves. Survival mode tasks you with defeating as many opponents as possible with a limited health bar.
A release date has not yet been revealed. However, when it is released, the update will come included in full-version downloads, with an update pack for those who already have the game also available through Sony's online PlayStation Store. Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is rated T for Teen. For more on the game, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
It will be interesting to see how the online play works out.
I'll pick up the update just because it includes the practice mode, which was absent from the first release.
look here, upon a sig graveyard.
Looks like I should get Tekken 5 now...
