Not that it matters now, but I'm pretty sure Outpost had it availiable for preorder at like $30 w/free shipping. Outpost takes 2-3weeks to get their shit to your house anyway.

I still believe. Perhaps released as a special edition on PS3 or a budget-priced PS2 game a 'la GTA Liberty City Stories.

  3. I figured that if it was ever going to hit the PS2, it would have been used to replace the GH version of Tekken 5. I hope they end up releasing the upgrade on the PS2, too, but I don't see it happening while this is fresh on the PSP.

We'll probably be seeing it go to PS2 near the end of January 2007 or later, if it shows up. Namco probably doesn't want a $20 T5DR out for PS2 to interfere with the $40 PSP one's potential Christmas sales.

For me, playing T5DR without an arcade stick would be like trying Time Crisis without a gun. This is one of those times I wish the PSP had a Neo-Geo Pocket type D-Pad.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

That's what I think, too. We might eventually see it on PS2 early next year, priced at the $20 level like the PS2 version of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. They could even release it as a Greatest Hit, treating it as an enhanced version of an already existing Greatest Hits game, like Sega did with Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution.

Meanwhile, this looks really good on PSP. I don't really follow the Tekken series all that closely, and don't own any Tekken games for myself, but I'm thinking of at least giving this PSP game a rental, just to see for myself how good it is.

  6. Very pretty, but sadly it looks like the same game I never really liked. I have always liked the tekken roster though despite not finding the game play all that enthrawling. But the new characrters looked pretty shitty too. Though it's cool law is back for this one, did anyone want gunjack again though?

  7. Yes, because he does the little Russian dance as an attack.

    Ok, you got me there.

  9. He gets a killer phone operator headset thing too.

  10. This might be helpful for those purchasing Tekken.
