Priority Starts off at $4.05
Most people are cheap asses and will not care how it is shipped as long as it isn't damaged. Looking into my own thought process, I think $4.00 is the perfect shipping amount for any given item. I could be wrong though... *shrug*Originally Posted by Josh

Whatever the actual shipping cost is (give or take 20 cents) is the perfect shipping amount.Originally Posted by NApOLm321

I personally would charge $6 for Priority and $4 for first class. Thats just me. 1 little ounce can make a price difference. I was at the post office shipping out eBay packages and this lady had a post card or envelope with some papers. What she had originally costed 39¢, and she asked the clerk would the price change if she added one more sheet of paper..the clerk took any letter sized paper and weighed it, she said that its now 70¢ or something like that.Originally Posted by NApOLm321

As to shipping, padded envelopes are almost always cheaper at the office supply store or somewhere other than the post office. Of course, you could do what people I know do, and get the free priority boxes but then cover or wrap it or put it in an envelope and send it standard. Then you'll be a Smooth Criminal.

Sometimes they'll catch that and prevent you from doing it. Same thing like turnning the Priority boxes or envelopes inside out and have it either shows the plain brown side of the box or the blank white side of the envelope.Originally Posted by Vasteel
Another thing you can do is either reuse the envelopes or boxes that you get from eBay, online orders or trades. Just peel off the old shipping label. If anything and you need boxes, just go to any store whether its the supermarket, drug store and deli. They also have boxes and just throw them out.
Its called delivery confirmation. All it does is let you and the buyer track the package. This prevents the buyer claiming they never received when in fact it was delivered. This is your protection incase they file a claim. Show this number to PayPal and thats your proof. Without this, you probably lost the dispute.Originally Posted by NApOLm321
