Well shit, thanks for the heads up bandit. I guess I'll have to go buy a box now to get this guys stuff shipped within a reasonable time.
What am I going to do with 25 boxes?
I think you ordered the wrong boxes. The priority boxes have nothing on them except Priority Mail on it. Let me see if I can find the actual boxes..Originally Posted by NApOLm321
*EDIT*
You clicked on the FLAT RATE link instead of PRIORITY MAIL.

This is good enough for cartridge games - http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stor...1645&langId=-1
This is good for DVD games and probably multiple items - http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stor...1643&langId=-1
While you're at it, get USPS Priority Mail tapes as well to secure the package even more. My laptop is getting poor connection while leeching off someones wifi, but you get the idea.
Alright well, how beat up do these boxes get along with shipping? I noticed that that these boxes are only an inch or two bigger than the n64 and snes carts that I'm sending; is that still okay to pack those with newspapers?
I was just browsing through earlier posts in this thread and somebody mentioned that (for different reasons) you could turn the box inside out. I think I might just turn all these inside out... how will they know the difference?
Also, a quick questions about click and ship. Do I need to print these out on sticker paper or what? Also, should I print them with postage paid too?
*sigh* there is much to learn.
If you are shipping out big packages, you can use those boxes as protection or to prevent things from moving around.Originally Posted by NApOLm321
What you mean how beat up do the boxes get? But the item inside are usually safe. You can pack them with newspaper or packing peanuts.Originally Posted by NApOLm321
You can turn the boxes inside out, but newer boxes have stamps on the brown inside stating its priority or some indication. Years ago..all they had was a plain brown side. You can turn it inside out but take brown shopping bags and wrap it. You can just box it the way it is and wrap it in brown shopping bags but if that brown bag rips and shows the USPS Priority box, you can get in trouble as it is illegal.
As for the click and ship, you can print on regular paper and just tape it on to the box. The postage is already on that slip.
I guess I got lucky, because mine are plain brown on the inside. I went ahead and put one inside out and it worked well enough. There is a rather large gap between the two lips when you tape it shut, but it doesn't really affect anything. Anyhow, I feel a little better using these bigger boxes, because I can fit more newspaper padding in there.Originally Posted by bandit
I'll go ahead and print out the click and ship and then just cover the thing with packaging tape then?
Thanks for all the help.
Well i dont know if all boxes are like that but the ones I got are. Same goes for the ones I get from the actual PO.Originally Posted by NApOLm321
Just print out the c&s and tape it to the box. I suggest taping the box as well (flap and the tab are on the side of the box)
As you have figured out, turn the box inside out. To further hide what you are doing you can write over all text with a sharpie and cover the box in an old brown paper sack, and clear tape.
This is against the law, btw. I am in no way telling you to do anything I've said.
Don't worry, it's just Napolm.

Alright, this is my last question. I just sold Paper Mario on ebay, and the guy tried to buy it with paypal credit card. In order to accept credit card payments, paypal is either forcing me to upgrade my account to a merchant account or whatever, or deny the payment. Obviously I don't want to give away paypal 3% + $.30 on every transaction. Is it within reason to deny the payment and tell the guy to send money another method?
Right now, you're on Personal which only allows you to accept and send a certain amount of money each month. They want you to upgrade to Premier.
You have to ask yourself this..are you going to be selling alot or bring in over that amount limit. If you are, you'll have to upgrade.
Regarding the payment via eBay. You can deny the payment and request money order but some buyers are assholes. They'll bitch. Such as..."your auction states you accept PayPal and now you want to deny it?". Then they'll go on about how they only want PayPal because they are protected and dont like, dont have the time, or too much of a hassle to get money order.
