Hand to Hand is becoming one of the strong points of this game for me; I just found the wrestling book and now I'm mowing the fuck out of zombies in the maintnence tunels so I can get 1,000 kills.

Tomorrow I'll do the 53,000 kills and at that point I'll be level 50 and I can walk through overtime mode without getting knocked out and then go on to survive for 7 days in infinity mode, which shouldn't be too hard if I'm 50 and can walk like a zombie and just worry about finding food.

Zombie Walk isn't all its cracked up to be as you walk mind numbingly slow. It would take you the entire 72 hours to get from one side of the mall to the other using it. I think I'm going to go for the psychopath achievments tomorrow. Some of the achiecments are going to be more trouble than they are worth however. Transmisionary, Clothes Horse, and a couple of others just seem to take too much effort to have to go through the game again.

I just realised that after I do the genocider and go through overtime I'll have all the Mega Man gear unlocked. That is some exciting shit right there.

As a side note, I think so long as I only save when I know I've made good use of the time I have at any given point in the game, it should be easy to get all 50 survivors if I carry a few chainsaws with those books and some spare shakes to give them should their health run low. When I first looked at the challenge it seemed near impossible, but with how my last playthrough went, and with the knowledge that I can always bring them around with me to boss fights if I really need to, I'm pretty confident I can get that taken care of.

Right after I survive for 7 days of course.

I am getting real fed up with the shitty survivor AI. For the love of god, 2 of them have small chainsaws and they still end up getting themselves killed. It is rediculous how pathetic they are. I'm just glad that there is far more to do than just escorting in this game, because if thats all there was, then I would be through. How many survivors can you let die before it's impossible to get the 50 escaped achievement. So far I've had Sophie get run over by the goddamn convincts cause she kept running around like a little retard and I couldn't activate the chat. Also one of the jap tourists didn't know how to use a chainsaw and got his ass eaten.

I'm just not big into escorting in general. I think thay are the lowest, despicable types of missions ever. Thanfully its only a small portion of the game and isnt even a must.

The best way to escort is to move slowly and take out literally every zombie in your path; any plaza can be viewed as two sections wide, take one side and kill everything out until the center while keeping your guys hugged against the wall as best as posible.

anyone finish the overtime level? If so help. How do I take down the guy on the tank. He blocks everything and is a little whore. I would try it again on my own and figure it out but I dont want to go all the way back where my save is and have him beat me again.

mog: use the jumpkick, roundhouse technique(jump, kick, then tap kick when you land) if you have the skill unlocked, it pretty much = instant win, as if he blocks the jumpkick and attempts to counterattack, the roundhouse hits for free

regarding escort missions: a concept that makes doing escort missions WAY easier is to have the wonderland ~ paradise shortcut( kill the clown and free Greg, the security guard).

This way you have multiple options for a quick return without the need of crossing Leisure Park. Anyone found in the foodcourt/outside/Paradise can be walked back to normally, while anyone found in Wonderland/North Plaza can be returned via the shortcut.

btw; the new normal(read; not unlockable) "high damage" weapon of the month is the Hedge Clippers. While not great for taking out groups of zombies(mini-chainsaw is still the best for that), you can literally rape a boss with it(I killed Cliff in 5 hits using the weapons' Hard attack) and they're in multiple areas(north plaza and wonderland).

So I did Genocider and then just died and saved so I could start a game of overtime and the fucking mege man unlockable for the achievement didn't unlock. I think you have to do the genocide AND finsih the 72 hours to get it.

I don't care enough about it to go through all that work again, I already have the achievement points, so whatever.

Or you could just ahve a mini-chainsaw as backup for the mini-chainsaw. Followed by a third and fourth.
