Good post. A guy who just happens to be gay, as opposed to a "gay guy." I have a lot more respect for you as opposed to people who allow their sexual preferences (or any one part of their life, actually- this can apply to anyone gay or not) to permeate every single aspect of their lifestyle. They're fucking annoying.

That's how it has to be I guess. I remember playing TFC, trying to play sniper was useless. You had 8 or 9 snipers per team while scouts were running flags back and forth like nobodies business.

I was usually an engineer, sometimes I was a medic. Spreading the AIDS was a difficult job, but most rewarding.

Well, sniping is fairly balanced in most of the halo 2 levels. If you know what you're doing you can ususally take a sniper out (unless its some stupid shit like coagulation). I used the BR more than anything though.

I guess that's ok then, but anybody who knows Counterstrike knows how lame all the sniper rifles are, as it take no skill to use, they fire almost as fast as a rifle except you can kill anyone on the otherside of the map.
So it kind of takes the fun out of playing.

I can take out a sniper with a BR on coag. All you have to do is be a little sneaky and get the first shot off; it takes them out of zoom and you'll usually have 2 or 3 shot in them before they get out their BR and start to return fire.

getting the first shot off is the tricky part. Its just such a vast and empty level, if they're constantly on the move it can be a real prick (particularly if they have both sniper rifles).
