Thread: Getaway: Gangs of London (PSP)

  1. Getaway: Gangs of London (PSP)

    Pretty impressive.

Goddamnit, give us a good game in this series already. This should've been gold from the start, but shitty gameplay has consistently held back what could've been a great series.

    *edit: fixed it. Bleh.

Buy Yakuza and Oblivion. Help yourself, help TNL.

  2. looks like a giant ad for Gaming Age, snooker, and darts. pass.

  3. Well, I could post GameSpot's screens, if you prefer their watermark.

  4. I have a hard time believing that when I play the game, it'll look like those first four shots. Not necessarily the textures, but the lack of aliasing

it was the exact same thing when Getaway was first shown on PS2
the screens ran at a super high resolution with full anti-aliaing...

The original screenshots were taken at really hi-res, then shrunk down to PSP screen size.

I actually like the original The Getaway. It has some problems, but it's overall pretty good. I didn't play the second one after being pretty disappointed with the demo.

  7. wow they look like shit..

  8. I think they look impressive, especially the bridge shot. The pool one is also impressive, and the darts one is nearly Shenmue-level.
